About Us

The Ohio State University School IPM Team has been awarded a grant through the EPA to assist Ohio schools comply with the mandated Pesticide Use in School Rule, as well as, aid in the initiation of an IPM program in their school district if they so desire.  School IPM is not mandatory in Ohio, however, it offers a sustainable approach to pest management in schools, using the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
